So you want to get to know me, do you? Well... here goes.

I am a 30 something nerd, geek, and complete dork! I currently reside in Lansing, Michigan, where I work for Michigan State University. GO GREEN! In my spare time I can be found at Gym Bumz (5 days a week for the last 9 months), or online playing either EverQuest 2 or Rift. (I was a beta tester for Rift, stuck with it, but am slowly getting back into EQ2.) I love MST3K and StarTrek: Voyager. (In my opinion, the best StarTrek series EVER! If you disagree, you're wrong.)

South Bend, Indiana is my birthplace. No, I am not a Notre Dame fan. I am a Hoosier by blood. No, I am not an IU fan. I am a Boilermaker! HAIL, HAIL TO OLD PURDUE! I have a twin sister. Yes, I said twin... sister... If you're thinking about asking me if we're identical, stop yourself now! If we were identical, one of us would have a problem. It would probably be me! (Yes, we've had a doctor ask if we were identical before... [crickets]) We are the same age, and no, she is not a lesbian. She is happily married with two daughters and one son.

High School was wicked busy. I was involved in a great deal of extra curricular activities. Too many, some might say. I was involved in drama, Business Professionals of America, band and was a member of the National Honors Society. I played football, soccer, wrestled and ran track. I tried my hand at tennis. Didn't work so well. High school was, overall, a pretty pleasant experience for me. I had fun and studied hard. Had a 4.0 in math, of all things. Hated it, but was apparently good at it.

College, on the other hand, yielded a much more vast set of results. I attended Purdue University for one year, where I was a member of the Purdue University All-American Marching Band and a re-founding member of the Alpha Beta chapter of Delta Lambda Phi. However, with all of my involvements, i was not the most studious individual. Grades were not all that great. I left Purdue with the lifelong bonds of brotherhood and fond memories of the field, but little else. I went on to attend Ferris State. Did much better in studies, but then dropped out after falling in love. Yah yah. Wrong choice. I wouldn't have believed you then even if you WERE there to tell me so. So, needless to say, my highest education status is always Some College / No Degree. *sigh* Some day.

I now work for Michigan State University. I am the System Administrator for the College of Music. I started at MSU on January 9th, 2006, and have been here since. It is the longest I have been with one employer. I am a complete geek and nerd. I love D&D, EverQuest 2, Rift, StarTrek and MST3K. I have two Chow Chows, Blue (male, 12) and Chai (female, 9). They are amazing dogs. Both rescues. I have a car magnet that says "Who rescued who?" inside of a paw print. They keep me sane when all else is making me mad.
